Doing what I can

I have been desperate in thinking of ways to help these two.

(Click on Nie Recovery for their story, you can also find updates on http://blog.cjanerun.com/)

I have never met them, but I have been an avid reader of Stephanie's blog for some time now. I once e-mailed her telling her I loved her blog & asked her about more information about the cute silhouettes she makes. She was so gracious and kind in her e-mail back to me. She has inspired me through her blog, you can see her sweet soul shining through her eyes in every picture and with every word.

I can't sew, I can't paint, I can't mold things from clay, I have no extra money to donate and I'm not very crafty but, I can take pictures and I can edit & make them look pretty. Elder Uchtdorf inspired me with his beautiful talk (see my personal blog) . So, I am going to hold an auction. I don't know if anyone will even bid, but even twenty dollars helps, ya know? I am auctioning off a photo session (Salt Lake, Cedar or St. George) and Christmas card (a file sent to your e-mail where you can send it to a printer of your choice.)

Ok, so officially here is what you are bidding for,

Photo session (Cedar City, St. George or Salt Lake or any town between St. George & Salt Lake, I really can't name them all. It may be a few weeks before I can make it to Salt Lake so please keep that in mind.)

The photo session includes 20-25 edited and processed images on a CD.

1 Christmas card w/ your favorite picture(s) This will be a j.peg file that you can send to any printer of your choosing. (Snapfish, Shutterfly, York photo, etc.)

So there you have it. I am going to start the bid at $10. If you choose to bid, please leave a comment with the amount ($20 for example), your name(if you will) and your e-mail. I will end the auction Thursday Oct. 9th at 10:00 AM Utah time. I will announce the winner on this blog & by e-mail, so make sure to leave your e-mail address.

All proceeds go to Stephanie & Christian and can be payed through their paypal acct. I will give out the info to the winner.

Thank you all so much- for links to Stephanie's blog, and her sweet sister Courtney's blog, go to my personal blog. http://thompsonlove.blogspot.com/

I'll start the ball rolling with $50. I know you don't live in SL but maybe we could do a session when you come visit?
